SURFACE PREPARATION

New surfaces are cleaned of dust and dirt. Previously painted surfaces are washed with RENSA SUPER paint cleaner. Shiny or hard surfaces are sanded to a matte finish and the sanding dust is removed. All old paint should be removed from surfaces painted with glue or chalk paint. Irregularities in the surface are filled with a suitable putty from the SILORA series. The dried putty is sanded and the dust is removed.

APPLICATION

Mix the paint well before use. The paint is thinned with water if necessary. The paint is applied in one or two layers with a roller, brush or sprayer. Suitable nozzle for high pressure sprayer is 0.017 - 0.021".

CONDITIONS OF APPLICATION

The surface to be painted must be dry. During the application and drying time, the temperature of the air, the surface and the paint must be above +5°C and the relative humidity below 80%. Ventilation during the painting process and the drying time of the paint speed up drying.

MAINTENANCE

The final film formation takes about 4 weeks under normal conditions and after this the surface achieves its final hardness and durability. Before this, the paint surface must be treated carefully. Moist wiping and the use of detergents damage the paint surface. Soiled surfaces must be cleaned dry: by gentle wiping, brushing, vacuuming etc. dyl.
